- Wind-driven debris and falling branches can dent or twist a gutter run. We cut out the damaged section and splice in new aluminum of the same profile and color, or replace the full run if the damage spans multiple hanger bays.
- Overflow at the outlet or end
- Sometimes the outlet is undersized for the roof area. We swap a 2x3 outlet for a 3x4, open up the hole, and match the downspout size so heavy rain clears the gutter without backing up under the shingles.

We tell you what can be fixed and what should be replaced. If a section is thin, corroded, or bent beyond a clean splice, we say so. The estimate separates repair line items from replacement line items so you see both options.
Fix the root cause
We do not just smear sealant over a leak and leave. We correct the pitch, tighten or replace hangers, and address the reason the problem started, whether that is a missing strap, a low spot, or a downspout that is too small.

Replacement usually makes sense
- Multiple seams leak and the gutter bottom feels soft or shows pinholes when you look up from below.
- The gutter is pulled so far from the fascia that the back lip is bent, or the run is twisted along its length.
- Rust has eaten through at the end caps or outlets, and patching would last only a few months.
- The system has 2x3 downspouts that overflow in routine summer storms, and adding larger outlets means cutting new holes in every run, a full replacement often costs less than reworking the old metal.
Gutter repair in Jacksonville: what the weather does to your system
Jacksonville’s summer thunderstorms dump water fast. A gutter that is slightly low or has a partly blocked outlet will overflow within minutes. That overflow soaks the fascia, runs down the wall, and pools near the slab. This is common on ranch homes where long rear runs collect water from a big roof plane and one undersized downspout cannot keep up.

Can you fix just one section of gutter?
Yes. We can cut out a damaged section and splice in new aluminum of the same profile and color. If the rest of the run is sound and pitched correctly, there is no need to replace the whole thing. We match K-style or half-round profiles common on Jacksonville homes.
Why did my gutters pull away from the house?
Usually the wood fascia behind the hanger screws has rotted from repeated wetting. The screws lose their grip and the weight of water pulls the gutter outward. Do you repair downspouts that are disconnected underground?
We reconnect above-ground elbows and straps. If the underground drain line is crushed or clogged, we can disconnect the downspout and add a splash block at grade, or recommend a drainage contractor for the buried pipe. We do not excavate or replace underground lines.
Will gutter guards prevent the need for repairs?
Guards reduce the amount of pine straw and leaves that pack into the gutter, which helps prevent overflow and the extra weight that strains hangers. They do not stop seams from leaking or correct a bad pitch. Guards help, but they are not a substitute for a properly hung and pitched system.
